The mečmůra is a fearsome fellwrought predator native to Esgalgrath. The felines grow continually throughout their lives, often reaching lengths of nine feet or greater from snout to stubby tail, and weigh a heavily muscled nine hundred pounds. Besides their massive size, the most distinctive feature of these white cats is their massive fangs, which are often a full foot in length. They feed mostly on Koza and Býk, and are not afraid of hunting wandering humans or even the native giants. The mečmůra tend to hunt in bonded sibling pairs, and only enter larger groups during the mating season. The mečmůra are plagued by their gigantism, which is the most common cause of their death. They reach such sizes that their spine and hips cannot support them, crippling the beasts and leading to starvation.
The great cats are considered the ultimate trophy among the feral giants of the Glassed Lands, and wearing their pelts is a sign of great accomplishment.
