Zanganya are a species of tiny, red and white spiders magebred originally in the Summer Court for use in medicine. The mite-like spiders, when exposed to a flesh wound, will weave a web that stitches the wound shut. Their honey-scented webs also keep infection at bay, and the spiders will breed within the wound, drinking the blood of the injured to spawn a new generation of spiders.
Some medicos carry breathable bottles of the living spiders to pour directly into wounds. The silk itself is also harvested and used for stitching, though this is less effective than direct treatment with the arachnids.
