A Trodaíor was a form of slave soldier in the Spring Court. They were given greater status than other slaves. Because of their lack of family ties and political connections, Trodaíor were trusted with important guard positions and military operations that required discretion. They began training very young, and were raised in a barracks with other Trodaíor and nobody else, building an exceptionally strong fraternal bond between the soldiers. They were taught to revere the Fae of the Spring Court as gods— even touching a Fae was regarded as taboo— and would fight zealously for them.
Almost all Trodaíor fought with the Fae of the Spring Court during the rebellion of man, and the term is now used by natives of Leovigild to mock those who sympathize with elves.
